W03 1986 Metal PUNISHER
Comic Book Redemption Ring
Estimated Value: $16.00 If you collect
Punisher items or comic books, then you may remember these redemption rings
from 1986. Rumored that these were offered in some random issues of The
Punisher LIMITED Series that released in 1986. The only other way to get
one of these was through certain large comic book stores in the United
States. I heard you had to buy all 4 issues and get this ring for $1.00
from the comic book shop. NOT adjustable. Seems
to be about size 6.5 (US). 23mm tall (face) and 20mm wide.
This is the only metal (non-sterling) Punisher
Ring I have ever seen in the Overstreet Guides. These have sold for upwards
of $12.00 on eBay. Sell for $3.00-$4.00 and make BIG PROFITS!

W09 1960s Groovy
Gum Machine and Circus Clip Pendants
Estimated Value: $4-$6 each
Remember these bubbly plastic pendants
that came in gum machines and sometimes I guess at the circus! I am actively
emptying an old circus warehouse in Pennsylvania and these were in the
collection of very cool stuff! I heard from the person who is managing
this clear-out of the old stock that these were often thrown out to the
kids by the clowns!
You are buying the animals as shown in
the photo but mixed designs and colors.
These are attached to a clip but these
were also sold in gum machines as pendants. There are examples of header
cards out in the world that have these on display. You get this clip version
but you could easily remove the plastic clip.
All of these are marked HONG KONG!
These measure roughly 1 inch x 1 inch.
You are buying mixed lots shown in the

W11 1970s Beer Can
Necklaces
No way would they allow someone to sell
these now in gum machines or anywhere! Non-Politically correct.
Over nine years ago I ran these on eBay and in some states it was illegal
to advertise beer to children through toys. Thus came and went Joe
Camel for cigarettes and on and on...
I have several designs and so check-out
the sample photo for an idea of the items you are getting. You get a good
even mix of each design of the remaining ones I have and can add more of
your favorite if you request.
These would be great for someone to sell
to adults at carnivals or festivals for a buck each or more. Quick
moo-lah for the entrepenuer.
Plastic with paper labels. Plastic
cord for the necklace. Designed for kids.
Measures roughly 1 inch tall (can).

W14 1960s US vs Germany
Nazi Action Bi-Planes
The first version of these were sold in
the 1950's to 60's with swastikas and stars on vintage WW2 style planes.
Those were "banned" by people who were offended. The second series
honored the US vs GERMANs who fought in these cool Bi-Planes in WW1. You
get a set of 5. Mixed colors. These were also a cause of offense
by those political correct parents. Look, please do not ask me to
stop listing these since these do not violate eBay policy or California
law! Thanks!
The original manufacturer stopped selling
these and some novelty sellers and even drugstores threw them out since
some people said these were offensive.
You get two Iron Cross planes, two Circle
planes, and one Star planes. You get 3 different colors (red, yellow,
blue).
Yours will have the stickers on but they
may come off during shipping or when you play/display them. I recommend
kids glue to re-attach them if they come off. "Just a dab will do
ya!"
These measure roughly 1.7" inches wide.
Take two US nickels and place them side-by-side and and that is about the
width.
Marked Hong Kong in the design. These
are very cool since they have fake rivits and everything in the rubbery
design.

W15 1950s Metal LUCKY
Cracker Jack Ring : USA
Made as a promotion for baseball games?
Just when I thought I knew tons about CJ rings, I find this... found this
information on a CJ collector's discussion forum:
"Hey, Yeah. I remember. I got a LUCKY ring
or something called that at a ball game. It was a metal ring with interlocked
L's shapes.
The ring was random in bags in the 1950s
at games. I got one at a ball game and any kid who had one got to go down
on the field after the game. I met some big-time players (me and about
20 other kids who found them in their bag) but since I was nine years old
so I can't remember who it was. Was that just in New York?".
Very cool story. I have an original
small cardboard box with a few of these USA made rings.
These are clean and shiny with no marks.
The image shows some weird markings but they are not really there and is
photo debri.
These have open sizer loops to adjust for
different finger sizes.
These have sold from $7-$10 each.

W16 1950s Metal Cracker
Jack ROBOT Ring
The weird cut-out rings of the period became
popular with Cracker Jack and this is no exception. I have been doing
some research and even called an old friend who used to work on designs
and toys and such and here is what he said: "Basically this was just a
square design that kids began calling the "Robot" ring. We never
really saw that until the ring went home with me for my daughter.
A few days later she said that her brother had taken her Robot ring.
I had to ask what she was talking about!? Well, it was the ring I
gave her and her brother thought it was a cool Robot. Leave it to
the mind of a child!".
I have just a few of these and I found
some collector sites that discuss this ring. I have just the silver
design.
This design was in the COSI (Center of
Science and Industry) Collection prior to it being removed a few years
back. Marked HONG KONG.
Did you know that before Borden sold the
brand in the 1990's, Cracker Jack was headquartered here in Columbus?!
I had the great opportunity to grab old CJ items when I attended a warehouse
disposal with my asset brokering company.
This design and the Peace designs were
very hard to find in boxes compared to the other metal rings of the period.
Same company made these types for gum machines too. Difference is
the HONG KONG stampings inside the loop.
Open adjustable ring sizer. Made
for kids.

W17 1969 Plastic JEEP
with HOWITZER Action Toy
Since I sell other PEACE items from the
Vietnam era it seems weird to offer this item BUT it is part of the history
and experience of young kids of that era. Teens wore the peace stuff and
little boys played Army and war.
Just acquired this item as part of sets
of military toys sold in Revco and Red & White Groceries in the Midwest
and in this case; Ohio. These came from the back storeroom of Red &
White Grocery that was in West Jefferson, Ohio. They closed close to 30
years ago.
Plastic trucks and other toys were quick
to be broken or damaged and then plastic trucks became less popular once
the introduction of die-cast vehicles in wide-scale roll-outs starting
in 1967-1970.
Each of the unique items came in sets of
two or three items per rack package. To get all the types of toys, kids
had to buy three different packages when sent from the original manufacturer.
These ones we are selling have NEVER been
played with and are from a factory case that were sent to grocers. The
single item bags sold for 10 cents and had the Helicopter or the Jeep with
Howitzer, and the LARGE tank with Army men went as high as 35 cents for
the bag.
You are buying the item(s) listed in the
title and NOT all of the items!
The JEEP and HOWITZER set has a jeep with
a blue or gray star and has those very cool men sitting on the target and
fire seats. They are attached and do not detach.
